In addition to the compact design, the antennas convince with a good reception range and easy operation. Thanks to the modern design, the Planar HD fit perfectly into the lines of current vehicles. Furthermore, they stand for low power consumption during long TV evenings at the most beautiful vacation spots in the world.

Concept and design
The Planar HD series follows the concept of flat antennas. Therefore, it does not need the classic feed arm, which is known in traditional satellite systems as the carrier of the LNB (low-noise block = signal converter). Thanks to this design, the systems have a convincing installation height of only 13 centimeters when folded, making the flat antennas the perfect solution for problematic roof structures and, with their elegant lines, the perfect visual complement for current mobile homes or caravans.

With its 52 cm long and 28 cm wide mirror, the Planar HD series offers an astonishing reception range. In addition, the antennas can be described as lightweights, weighing just 8.9 kg. The systems are optionally available with a TWIN LNB. This equipment allows the independent use of two receivers or two TV sets.

S.S.C. HD control module
Decades of perfection. ALDEN has developed the now legendary S.S.C. HD control module for operating the SAT-TV combination into a unique product through years of progressive research. Among other things, it is known for its ability to quickly find the desired satellite. Apart from that, its exclusive electronics make it perfect for operating high-definition TVs. The module is receiver-independent and easy and convenient to use. Updates can be carried out by the user. In TV mode (e.g. SAT + LED TV 18.5") it convinces with a very low power consumption of just 17 watts (standby: 0.4 watts) and is also equipped with a power switch (0 watts). Alignment of the antenna is fully automatic, as is retraction when the vehicle is started.

Equipment features
To adjust the operating parameters, a practical display joins the control buttons of the module. Apart from that, it is possible to perform the alignment of the antenna in combination with an ALDEN TV. The search process is carried out in the S.S.C. HD control module using the modern HD method. The module was developed for mobile 12V on-board power supplies and tolerates fluctuations of 10-17 volts. A total of four menu languages are available: English, French, German and Dutch. A USB-based update system facilitates updates of the operating software and transponders.

The new development is a smart TV based on Android for the use of Internet content such as streaming services or media libraries. The TV convinces with an ultra-slim design. Thanks to the huge viewing angle (178 H / 178 V), it stands for excellent picture quality and depth of field, regardless of the installation location inside the motorhome or caravan. It has pixel class 0 and offers full HD resolution (19" / 22" / 24").

WIFI and more
ALDEN's smart TV works with Bluetooth to transmit audio signals to external playback sources. So the simplest way of audio signal transmission is possible at any time. Furthermore, the "smart" TV is equipped not only with a WIFI / LAN but also with a mirror function for mirroring smartphone and tablet content.

Connection options and power requirements
The new development has an integrated USB player, HDMI, RCA, RGB, audio out as well as headphone connection. A CI+ (Common Interface) for the reception of encrypted channels, teletext and an electronic program guide (EPG) complete the equipment. All common satellites are already pre-programmed. With a record low power consumption of from 17 watts and the power switch (0 watts), nothing stands in the way of a long TV evening away from home. The device is available in four screen sizes: 19″ (47 cm), 22″ (55 cm) and 24″ (60 cm)
