Quality for the discerning. ALDEN presents with the AS2 HD series fully automatic satellite systems. The AS2 HD series stands for highest quality, i.e. functionality with simple operation and low power consumption. The systems convince with a very fast alignment and best reception range with easy operation. The modern design is underlined by the use of screened offset mirrors. As of 2021, a gray color variant has been added to the AS2 HD series.

Design and more
The outer skin of the lightweight AS2 HD series impresses with its modern lines, which correspond to the design understanding of our time and integrate seamlessly into the prevailing look of current motor homes and caravans. Also contributing to the noble look of the antenna is the screened offset mirror, which with its perforated surface is responsible for an inconspicuous appearance that can almost be overlooked and a unique wind load reduction.

Versions
All AS2 HD antennas are optionally available with TWIN-LNB or with the ALDEN SKEWmatic system. Thanks to Auto-SKEW and GPS, the system optimizes the range and also allows a very fast alignment of the antenna. As TWIN version also optionally suitable for independent use of two TV sets. The highlight of the series may be the very compactly designed model AS2 80 Platinum. A look at it is absolutely recommendable.

S.S.C. HD control module
Perfected for decades. ALDEN has developed the now legendary S.S.C. HD control module for operating the SAT-TV combination into a unique product through years of progressive research. Among other things, it is known for its ability to quickly find the desired satellite. Apart from that, its exclusive electronics make it perfect for operating high-definition TVs. The module is receiver-independent and easy and convenient to use. Updates can be carried out by the user. In TV mode (e.g. SAT + LED TV 18.5") it convinces with a very low power consumption of just 17 watts (standby: 0.4 watts) and is also equipped with a power switch (0 watts). Alignment of the antenna is fully automatic, as is retraction when the vehicle is started.

Equipment features
For adjusting the operating parameters, a practical display joins the control buttons of the module. Apart from that, it is possible to perform the alignment of the antenna in combination with an ALDEN TV. The search process is performed by the S.S.C. HD control module using the modern HD method. The module was developed for mobile 12V on-board power supplies and tolerates fluctuations of 10-17 volts. A total of four menu languages are available: English, French, German and Dutch. A USB-based update system facilitates updates of the operating software and transponders.
