Weekend and motorhome - short breaks in South Tyrol
South Tyrol invites you to promising weekend tours, short trips and journeys of discovery.
Where alpine traditions and Mediterranean ease meet, there is something new to discover around every corner
Natural spectacles and pearls of art, ancient customs and innovative projects, pure enjoyment and convivial coziness
And traveling in a motorhome allows you to get to know the country and its people more slowly and intensively.
This travel guide is intended for anyone who wants to see, experience and enjoy a little more of South Tyrol.
About the authors:
Udo Bernhart has worked as a freelance photographer and photojournalist for more than 40 years.
Having grown up in Vinschgau and having close ties to the South Tyrolean landscape, assignments have taken him all over the world: he has published numerous photo reportages and more than 150 illustrated books.
He lives alternately in Vinschgau or in Frankfurt am Main.
Herbert Taschler, a native of Dobbiaco in the South Tyrolean Pustertal and resident in Caldaro and Appiano for over two decades, has been traveling the Italian peninsula from north to south for years and observes the wine and gastronomy scene very closely in particular
As a freelance specialist journalist, gastrosophist and sommelier, he tastes, tests and writes for various media.
With a history spanning more than 150 years, Bruckmann Verlag is the all-round provider of outdoor and travel media. In addition to an extensive book program, Bruckmann publishes the magazine BERGSTEIGER as well as calendars, DVDs, online and offline books
Portals, e-books and apps. Today, Bruckmann is the leading publisher of sports and active travel guides and one of the most important providers of high-quality illustrated travel books.
