J. Berg Verlag was founded in Munich in 1950
The program includes leisure guides and illustrated books on topics from Bavaria, the Alpine region and neighboring regions and countries.
In the mid-1990s, J. Berg was integrated into the mountain book program of Bruckmann Verlag.
Today, J. Berg has been publishing leisure guides and alpine book titles under its own name again since 2004 as an imprint of Bruckmann Verlag.
