Maneuvering a truck safely is a challenge even for very experienced drivers. When a truck turns, other road users, especially pedestrians and cyclists, get caught in the blind spot where the driver cannot see them. The new Dometic MagicWatch MWE 4104 blind spot coverage system minimizes these risks. Four sensors monitor the crucial blind spot area and the passenger side when maneuvering. They switch on automatically when the vehicle is moving at maneuvering speed and warn the driver twice if anything is in the vicinity: visually, through the three-color LED display in the cockpit, and acoustically via a loudspeaker.
