Big Fred
Fred is a practical fridge-freezer. It is therefore not just a chest freezer, but also a freezer. As Big Fred has two compartments, you can also choose to refrigerate or freeze in both, or refrigerate one and freeze the other.
The intuitive display allows you to set the temperature down to -20 ºC. And because Fred works with a compressor, you won't suffer from condensation. That's great! If you do get moisture in the freezer from the products it contains, you can simply drain it through the drainage plug at the bottom of the freezer.
Fred consumes electricity. Thanks to the 230-volt and 12/24-volt adapter supplied, the chest freezer can be connected directly to the power socket or in the car. The compressor also works on the 12/24 volt adapter, so you won't experience any problems with condensation in the car either.
In addition, Fred has a few extra tricks to make your outdoor adventure even more comfortable. For example, Fred has automatic interior lighting so that you can always see what you are taking out of the freezer, even in the dark. There is a bottle opener on the side and the display has a USB port that you can use to charge your phone and other devices. If you straighten the handles of the Big Fred, you can wedge a parasol into the hole so you can enjoy a cool drink or ice cream in the shade.
Because Big Fred is a big boy, there are 2 wheels underneath, making it easier to move around. The holder can be pulled out for added convenience. Fred has a capacity of 58 liters, with one compartment of 35 liters and one of 23 liters. This means it can hold up to 36 cans plus six 1.5 l bottles!
