Product description
The new innovative wireless camera system from Midland: With up to four cameras, the Truck Guardian enables truck drivers to monitor both their load and the road at the same time. The night vision function and integrated microphones for acoustic feedback ensure optimum monitoring and thus greater safety. Cameras can be mounted in the cargo area or trailer to monitor the load (e.g. advantageous when moving the load in steep curves or when transporting animals).
The transmitted views are displayed alternately or in split screen on the monitor in the driver's cab. With the appropriate installation, the monitor automatically switches to the rear view camera, for example, when reverse gear is engaged, or to the side view camera when the turn signal is activated.
This means that the Truck Guardian system can also be used as a turn-off assistance system - already important with regard to future legal regulations.
