Modern infotainment for your motorhome: The XZENT X-F285 is tailor-made for the new FORD Transit (MY2019.75). The X-F285 integrates perfectly into the dashboard of this vehicle model and offers the latest navigation and entertainment features. The large 9"/22.9 cm real glass capacitive touchscreen display allows easy, intuitive and completely safe operation of the device, even while driving.

The X-F285 is equipped with a DAB+ twin tuner, providing relaxed mobile digital radio reception of the highest quality. The modern DAB+ module scores with ease of use and a wide range of functions: these include features such as DAB-DAB Service Following, DLS text, MOT slideshow and the background scan, which always keeps the dynamic station list up to date.

In addition to an FM RDS tuner, the X-F285 is equipped with two USB 2.0 ports, which can be used to play audio and video files, as well as to connect Apple iOS and Android smartphones. Via USB port, you can dock your iPhone directly to the X-F285 - the XZENT then supports Apple CarPlay. Making calls, navigating, sending and receiving messages, or listening to music - you can conveniently control all supported functions via Siri voice control or via the large display. The preinstalled AndroidLink app allows you to mirror the screen content of Android smartphones to the infotainer display and directly control the mirrored apps via the touchscreen of the X-F285.

Thanks to echo-cancelling and noise suppression, the modern, easy-to-use Bluetooth 4.2 module impresses with its high voice quality. Importing up to 1000 phonebook contacts, each with 3 phone numbers, and a search function are among the convenience features, as is A2DP music streaming with AVRCP control from smartphones.

The X-F285 has two camera inputs (CVBS) with switched power supply and features an automatic shunting/switching function triggered by engaging reverse gear. Auxiliary lines can be displayed for better distance estimation. the camera function can also be started manually via the CAM direct selection button on the front panel.

Two optional navigation packages are available for the X-F285, which turn the Infotainer into a motorhome naviceiver: X-MAP27-MH1 with 1 year of free map updates and X-MAP27-MH3 with 3 years of free map updates. Both navipackages include maps of 47 EU countries, an extensive P.O.I. Camping Sheep database (multilingual, lifetime license) with information on more than 20,000 pitches and campsites, and a premium P.O.I. database with more than 6.5 million points of interest.

The X-F285 features the DAB-TPEG function to display traffic events faster and more accurately using Free TPEG data (country-specific coverage). The NextGen navigation engine allows vehicle-specific profile data (length, width, height, weight and trailer) to be entered to accurately calculate the route, including avoiding road and bridge crossings that are unsuitable for motorhomes.

The X-F285 offers direct support for FORD Transit steering wheel remote control functions from MY.2019.75 models. The button connection is made via the CAN / SWC interface.

The AndroidLink app for Android smartphones integrated on the XZENT allows you to mirror your phone's display to the infotainer display, giving you direct control of app functions from the X-F285's touchscreen.

Rear camera connections
The X-F285 has two RCA inputs (Cam1/Cam2) for connecting and controlling two cameras with switched power and shunting/switching functions. For distance estimation, you can display and set auxiliary lines

Cam direct sensor key
In addition to the FAV button configurable via the system menu, the X-F285 also has a CAM direct selection button on the front panel that allows manual control of the rear camera system.

Audio/Video Playback

Bluetooth Handsfree and Music Streaming

The X-F285's built-in FM RDS tuner features a software DSP that ensures clear, noise-free radio reception even with weaker stations. Radio stations can be stored in 18 presets.
