Büttner Battery Power Unit IBüttner Battery Power Unit IIBüttner Battery Power Unit IIIBüttner Power Unit IV 180Ah board battery
Product description
- Simple installation
- Considerably more capacity
- High current draw possible
- Finally self-sufficient use of the vehicle
- Temperature independent system
- Extremely long service life of the entire battery system
- No conversion of the on-board electronics to lithium necessary
Both battery systems are connected with the enclosed cable set. The monitoring and control of the system is done by the battery computer control. This is connected to the BMS (Battery Management System) of the lithium battery and prevents further charging by the existing charging systems if the lithium battery is fully charged but the charging systems still have to charge the installed on-board battery due to their AGM or gel characteristic. In addition, the battery computer displays the total available capacity of the complete battery system in the passenger compartment.
Advantage: All existing charging equipment can remain in the vehicle and continue to be operated. The mostly new or still intact on-board battery - regardless of capacity and type - remains installed and operates purely as a backup battery. It is used when the lithium battery is almost completely discharged or switched off by the battery computer due to external circumstances
was. The disconnection is activated at extremely low temperatures or if the lithium battery has to be switched off due to high interior temperatures.
Additional function: If the vehicle is not used as a touring vehicle, this can be set on the battery computer at the touch of a button. As long as this rest function is activated, the lithium battery is not fully charged but kept in the optimal partial charge state. This significantly increases the service life of the LiFePO4 battery.
Tip: The longer charging times due to the increased battery capacity can be compensated with an additional charger. The PowerLine chargers 25 A and 50 A are ideally suited.
Specially developed for touring vehicles
Solar modules for motor homes and caravans are stressed differently than those for house systems! For example, for mobile use, the junction boxes must be pressure waterproof (driving wind) and the soldered connections must be specially designed for the vibrations that occur. The frame construction also requires a special design to compensate for any torsion and buoyancy forces that may occur.
What can I run
Even with the smallest version (MT LI 85) it is possible to operate a Nespresso coffee machine or a hairdryer up to 1,200 watts with an inverter (e.g. MT 1200 SI/SI-N). Already with the MT LI 105, inverters up to 1,700 watts can be used, and with the two batteries with 120 Ah and 180 Ah, consumers (hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, coffee machine, etc.) up to 2,000 watts are no problem. However, even with LiFePO4 batteries, it is recommended that the battery capacity is not too small in relation to the on-board consumers.

Note
Please note: since our deliveries may contain batteries (single-use and rechargeable),
according to the German Law on Batteries (BattG) we must advise you of the following:
single-use and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of along with domestic waste, but rather you are legally required to return used batteries. Used batteries may contain damaging substances which, if not stored or disposed of appropriately, may damage the environment or your health. Batteries may, however, also contain important raw materials, such as, for example, iron, zion, magnesium or nickel, which can be recycled. Once used, you may either send the batteries back to us, or return them in
your vicinity (e.g. at the shop, communal recycling points or at our expedition warehouse) - free of charge. When returning used batteries to points of sale, the quantity you are allowed to return is limited to the quantity typical for a single end user, and to those batteries which the seller offers or used to offer in their product range.
The symbol with a rubbish bin crossed out means that you must not dispose of single-use and rechargeable batteries
along with the domestic waste. Underneath this symbol you will also find the following symbols which have the following
meanings:
Pb: battery contains lead
Cd: battery contains cadmium
Hg: battery contains mercury
