The active Caratec Plug & Play Sound System consists of a compact amplifier (6-channel) with integrated DSP and a subwoofer. The amplifier optimises the speaker sound in the vehicle and boosts the powerful subwoofer. This produces a whole new, impressive sound experience in an instant. The sound is released from the speakers and soars over the dashboard. A much clearer, more vivid sound is created by the subwoofer and the relief of the originally built-in speakers of low frequencies.
The set includes two compact loudspeakers, which can be integrated very easily thanks to the three housing variants supplied for installation, mounting and corner mounting.
The CAS204D has been specially designed for the Fiat Ducato X250 and X290 with radio preparation, without original radio. The Plug & Play cable set for the ISO radio plug allows quick connection and installation, separate connections to the vehicle are not required.
Note on subwoofer mounting: the space under the passenger seat is required for the subwoofer, therefore, do not install a battery here. If this space is occupied, an optional CAZ100L extension cable (2 m) will be required to mount the subwoofer in a different location.
