Brief description
The European Road 6 is the northernmost dream road in Europe. Together with the E69, it leads from Oslo to the northernmost point of the continent, the North Cape. More than 2,000 km are covered on the well-developed road with countless sights: through the Dovrefjell; to Trondheim; to Saltstraumen, the largest tidal river in the world; across the Arctic Circle to 6.000 year old rock paintings in Alta; to Hammerfest, the northernmost city in the world; of course to the North Cape, where the sun never sets in summer

Not to forget the countless waterfalls, the fantastic mountain scenery of the fjords, endless forest areas, calving glaciers and narrow river valleys that never make a trip boring. The book takes the hassle out of finding campsites, cheap gas stations as well as stores. Additionally described "extra tours" off the E6 deepen the Norwegian experience and provide variety on the return trip.
