With its robust, compact design and automatic, stainless-steel shutter cover the LUIS R7-S stainless steel compact camera constitutes this manufacturer's top-of-the-range model. Thanks to the automatically closing shutter cover, the camera lens is protected against rain, mud and stones - and an integrated heating system clears the camera of snow and ice. To enable powerfully effective night vision, even in complete darkness (0 lux), the LUIS R7-S stainless steel compact is equipped with 6 IR light-emitting diodes. The wide angle of vision of 150 degrees ensures a broad area behind the vehicle is in view. The robust construction allows use in extreme conditions. Accordingly, the camera is designed to be vibration resistant up to 10G and impact resistant up to 100 G. It can operate at temperatures between -30 and +70 °C.
