The Hitch Hiker is a climbing-inspired, adjustable-length leash and hitching system for ultimate connection versatility with your dog - from the crag to the café and all paths in between.

The adjustable harness works equally well as a handle for a hand leash, a waist belt for a hands-free leash, or a wrap for a leash secured around a single tree or post. And with the ergonomic HitchLock rope adjuster, you can smoothly switch from long leash to short leash and all points in between at a length of 12 feet. Designed for convenient adjustment, it acts like a braking system when the rope is under tension. A rugged storage bag keeps rope tails at bay, highlighting its unmatched portability and utility as a hitch and line combination.

The beginning of a wonderful belay relationship, much like the climbing gear that inspired the device and the sign of a trusted belay partner, human involvement is required. While the Hitch Hiker uses an automatic blocking technique to keep the rope under tension, the rope must be lowered and retrieved by hand.
