Truckmate SC5900DVR automatically detects full cards and overwrites older data first. Dangerous events, are permanently stored and not automatically overwritten!

Unlike other navigation devices, our navigation systems show you speed limits that are specific to your vehicle size and class. In addition, you can update the radar device database AURA™ 365 days a year, around the clock, free of charge at VENTURA.
While many traditional navigation systems with radar detectors only provide updates every 3 or 4 months, our dedicated radar data collection team updates the database daily so that you can download it from the second a radar is added.

Day & night mode
The brightness of the screen can be adjusted in the menu for day & night mode. The night mode darkens the map view so that you are not dazzled.

An extensive list of hotels, restaurants, pitches, campgrounds, gas stations, golf courses, ATMs, airports, train stations, shops and more. You can reach your desired destination at the push of a button. Updating via free Internet downloads (POI updater).

Select your "desired places of interest" from our extensive list of OVI's and have them displayed along your calculated route within a radius of approximately 2 km.

Multiple route calculation (Multi-Routing)
Navigation devices from Car Guard Systems have always had the most elegant design. But they not only look good, they also offer the corresponding performance. Take our new and unique software for multiple route planning. Multiple routes allow you to calculate a single route with up to 16 different destinations simply by adding addresses. There is no need to stop and restart the device and search for each address. You can now easily calculate all destinations of the day, change their order at any time, add or delete new destinations. Up to eight travel routes with several destinations to be approached in sequence can be created.
If you wish, you can have the shortest route and most sensible sequence of stages calculated automatically. For each individual interim destination you have the possibility to select route options. At each stop, the map view will show you the time and distance of the stopover.

Motorhome and optionally car mode
Although Ventura is specifically designed to guide motor homes and caravans over safe and approved roads, the product also has a setting for passenger cars. Simply switch the navigation system to car mode and you will be guided to your destination on the best possible route for your vehicle. Since the navigation system is offered as a mobile version, it can be easily switched between several vehicles. This results in two navigation systems in one!

Free traffic jam avoidance
If you drive for a living, you know how important it is to know exactly what to expect on the route.
Accurate and reliable information is a must to ensure that you arrive on time for your appointments. Traffic information is fed from hundreds of thousands of vehicles and sensors across Europe and is therefore very up-to-date.
Ventura's congestion warning service alerts you to all traffic incidents in the country and lists them in order of distance from your current location or alphabetically. In addition to this overview, you can also monitor traffic incidents that occur on the route you have programmed into the system. And if there is a traffic jam on your route, you can simply let the navigation system automatically calculate a route (with an alternative route) that avoids it.

Intelligent route calculation
The route is calculated depending on the distance travelled (such as steep gradients), vehicle speed, vehicle dimensions, vehicle type etc.

Navigate by OVI symbols or numbers of a BAB exit on the map
Search and find your destination by means of an OVI symbol or the number of a motorway exit in our "Search on map" function.

Legal speed alert
The display of the permitted speed on almost all roads throughout Europe is shown on your Ventura at all times. The user can individually select the value for the desired speed deviation above which a warning is to be issued.

Useful settings
In the menu you can choose which important information is displayed on the navigation system during the journey. You can choose between speed, arrival time, remaining time, automatic enlargement of the map when changing direction. In the "GPS" menu you can display the current GPS coordinates and the altitude above sea level.

System and configuration security code
To protect your settings from unwanted changes, you can lock the menu settings and the stored vehicle-specific data with a personal password each.

Bluetooth® radio technology
Stay on the safe side of the law. VENTURA is equipped with Bluetooth® so you can safely answer a call while driving and keep both hands on the steering wheel. An expansion microphone is included with the AVNS9020, ideal for vehicles with lots of background noise.

Your individual route
Calculate and save your desired individual route. Use the map search function to select one or more streets at your desired stations. With "Your Route" you can create your own custom and individual routes! Especially several destinations in a narrowly defined area (deliveries, parcel services) can be quickly selected directly on the map and put together into a route!
