The Camper 1090 navigation device has an extra large 10 inch touch display with HD resolution, which can be used in portrait or landscape mode. For vehicle-specific route guidance, profiles can be created with individual dimensions and weight, as well as with different trailer types. For added safety while driving, the driver assistance system provides warnings of sharp turns, crosswinds, steep grades and inclines, railroad crossings and more.

The Navi has a Bluetooth hands-free Garmin voice control and shows smartphone messages directly in the display. For the perfect vacation, there's a huge selection of campground recommendations from ASCI and NKC Campercontact, parking and sites from Trailer's PARK, and recommendations from iOverlander. POIs from Garmin TripAdvisor and Foursquare are also preloaded for everyday necessities like hotels, activities and restaurants.

With the route planner, you can create new tours at any time, archive them and also share them with others via the Garmin Drive app. The Drive app also provides the navigation device with real-time data on traffic, weather, gas station prices and other services
