Cable for Smart BMS CL 12-100 on MultiPlus
This cable allows the MultiPlus 500 VA - 1600 VA, MultiPlus Compact 800 VA - 2 kVA and MultiPlusII models to be used with BMS products that do not have a VE.Bus interface, such as the Smart BMS CL 12-100 and the miniBMS. These MultiPlus models can be controlled via the load/load break outputs or load/charger outputs
The wire must be wired to the remote on/off connector on the MultiPlus models
- When used with MultiPlus 500 VA-1200 VA models, connect the black wire to the AN terminal and the red wire to the (+) terminal
- When used with MultiPlus Compact 800 VA-2 kVA models, connect the black wire to the center terminal and the red wire to the right (IN) terminal
- When used with the MultiPlus II models, connect the black wire to the lower (-) terminal and the red wire to the upper (+) remote on-off terminal
Both the load/charger disconnect outputs of the CL 12-100 Smart BMS and the load/charger outputs of the miniBMS must be in the 'High' state for the MultiPlus to operate. After shutdown due to low battery voltage, run the alternator or use a battery charger on the primary side of the BMS to reset the system. The MultiPlus will then turn on and begin charging (if connected to an AC power source).
