Specifically, the gold bucket "EMs" are able to prevent rotting and enable fermentation. We recommend adding them when using the Goldeimer dry toilets, but they can also be used to counteract foul odors from the camper's septic tank or a smelly compost bowl in the kitchen. Simply spray on a few strokes and seal airtight. Behind the name is a mixture of different aerobic - but predominantly anaerobic microorganisms such as lactic acid bacteria, photosynthetic bacteria and yeasts, which are able to convert carbohydrates from the biomass into lactic acid. These processes take place in the absence of oxygen.
The pH value sinks by this fermentation process under 4 (= sour) and pathogenic germs are inactivated. One also speaks of an "acid hygienization". A side effect of this process is that nutrients that escape during composting are fixed and attached to the plant carbon. Fermentation is an important step in the production of terra preta. To be sure, gold bucket "EMs" are said to have other magical powers. However, we distance ourselves from these scientifically unverifiable effects.

Dosage

Before each long break in use, spray "Gold Bucket "EMs" in the bucket. A few pumps are enough. It is advisable to use "Goldeimer EMs" always in the evening before going to bed, or before you say goodbye to your allotment on Sunday.
Waste water tank in the camper: Depending on use, every few days give a few pumps from the spray bottle or a shot from the canister into the sink and rinse with a little water
Basically, the mixing ratio is approx. 5 ml per liter of wastewater.
