The Katadyn Vario is small and light, but delivers a lot of power, which makes it perfect for smaller groups. A fast preparation of up to 2 liters per minute is no problem thanks to the Dual Piston technology without much effort.
Optionally, 2 litres per minute can be filtered in "Faster Flow" mode or 1 litre per minute in "Longer Life" mode. This simply activates a ceramic pre-filter which extends the life of the fibreglass filter in more heavily contaminated water.
The water passes through three stages of filtration to safely eliminate all harmful ingredients. The activated carbon ensures that annoying odours don't stand a chance and chemicals are reduced, the ceramic pre-filter removes particles and suspended matter and the glass fibre filter retains bacteria and protozoa. The result: Fresh and tasty water that you can trust without any ifs and buts.
