Fully automatic battery charging converter for special vehicles, motorhomes, boats (charging converter, B2B battery to battery, battery charging while driving).

The charging converters (boosters) have been developed according to the latest specifications for charging supply batteries (on-board battery) with lead-acid, lead-gel or lead-AGM technology while driving.

In contrast to conventional cut-off relays, the charging voltage is increased depending on the charging specification in the case of long supply cables or insufficient cable cross-sections, thus compensating for the losses.

The charging converter thus provides the well-known high quality of battery charging of the VOTRONIC chargers even while driving. The intelligent microprocessor charging control with "IU1oU2" charging characteristics and dynamic charging time calculation automatically ensures fast and gentle full charging and subsequent 100% charge retention of the connected batteries from any state of charge and always enables simultaneous supply of 24 V consumers connected in parallel. Overcharging or excessive gassing of the batteries is prevented even during extremely long driving times.

The charging converters of the "IUoU" series are characterized by their compact design, low weight (high-frequency switch mode technology), powerfully dimensioned power components and thus full charging power even with long charging cables and strong voltage fluctuations at the starter battery (e.g. in vehicles according to Euro 6 standard).
