Awning
An awning describes a sloping roof made of fabric that is rolled out when needed to protect against the sun. Depending on the model, it can also serve as a privacy and rain cover. The awning is attached directly to the vehicle or caravan.
You can choose between a bag awning and a cassette awning. The former - as the name suggests - is transported as a sack. It is lightweight, but you have to plan extra storage space for it, because it is only unrolled on site and attached to the keder rail.
The cassette awning in turn is permanently mounted on the vehicle. All you have to do is crank it out and then set it up with support feet.
