Support Load

The support load is the force exerted by the trailer on the towing vehicle's trailer coupling. 

To tow a caravan the maximum support load must be taken into account. It indicates the maximum number of kilos that may act on the hitch. 

Information on the support load of your trailer coupling and that of the caravan drawbar can be found under no. 13 in the vehicle registration document of the respective vehicle.
