Tension Line
The tension line or guy line has the task of tensioning the tent skin so that it does not touch the inner tent. This keeps the inner tent dry in the rain. In addition, guy ropes ensure that tents or awnings stand wind-proof. In high winds, storm lines must be used. The tension line is attached to a peg. Depending on the ground conditions, different pegs are used, such as screw-in tent pegs for very hard ground.
