If motorhomes or caravans are not used in winter, they should be winterized. For motorhomes, this means filling up the fuel tank, among other things. It is also advisable to fold the windshield wipers forward and top up the engine cooling system and windshield wiper system with antifreeze. Hinges and handbrake on caravans should be greased. The drawbar and drawbar box can be fitted with a protective cover.
