Gas Hose

A gas hose connects a gas cylinder to a gas appliance. For safety, gas hoses are marked with a year of manufacture. 

If the hose is older than ten years, it should be replaced. A gas test is carried out every two years, during which the gas system in the camper van is checked by a specialist. 

Depending on the design, gas hoses can be connected directly to the gas appliance and the gas cylinder or a gas pressure regulator is connected in between.
