Lifting Bed

A lift bed is suspended from the ceiling in a mobile home or caravan . This way, it does not take up any space during the day and seating groups or kitchenettes can be fully used. For sleeping, the fold-down bed is lowered either manually or electrically.  Modern lift beds are made of aluminium for weight reasons. Depending on the equipment, the comfort of lift beds ranges from a simple foam mattress to a slatted frame with suspension.
