The Autoterm Air 4D (formerly Planar 44D) is a powerful diesel air heater.
There is a 12V and 24V version.
With a heating capacity of 4KW, the Air 4D ensures that the interior heats up quickly even in icy temperatures. This makes the Air 4D ideal for medium-sized and large driver's cabins (trucks) and interiors (Sprinter class, minibuses and boats/yachts up to 15 m in length).
The manufacturer specifies a room volume of approx. 40 m³ as the ideal room size for efficient operation of the heater.

In just one hour, the Autoterm Air 4D generates a warm air volume of up to 168m³ and consumes only a maximum of 0.51 liters of diesel.
The power consumption is max. 57W/hour.
It is possible to use the heater in fresh air or recirculated air mode. Even under harsh environmental conditions with extreme temperatures of up to -45°C, heating operation is no problem.

The basic installation kit is included in the scope of delivery. This also includes the quiet TH11 fuel pump and an integrated height kit. This means that the Autoterm Air 4D can be used at altitudes of up to 2,500 meters.

The brushless induction motor ensures a long service life with a low noise level. Thanks to the very robust technology "Made in Russia", operation in extremely cold regions is possible without any problems (tested in Siberia) The parking heaters are manufactured exclusively for the European market and have an ECE approval mark, meaning that the parking heaters can be installed without registration.

The hole pattern and the fixing points correspond to the manufacturers Eberspächer and Webasto. This makes it very easy to replace the parking heater with a much more financially attractive Autoterm parking heater.

Air routing
A 90 mm warm air system can be connected to the Autoterm Air 4D.
The warm air outlet of the Air 4D has a diameter (d) of 100 mm. If required, a reduction to d90mm warm air hose is possible. A further reduction (d75mm) is possible after a minimum length of 1m (warm air hose, d90mm).

Control units (not included in the scope of delivery)
Various control units make it possible to control the heating directly in the vehicle or with a radio remote control. From greater distances, control can be carried out via the QStart modem (GSM/LTE modem, mobile network) in conjunction with a smartphone (IOS or Android). A smartphone app "Autoterm Control" for IOS or Android supports this function. The app can be downloaded to the smartphone.
