It’s a shame that the quality and, in particular, the ease of use of the kettle didn’t fully meet your expectations.
With a capacity of 2.2 liters, the kettle is designed for making hot beverages or heating water while camping. The built-in whistle is intended to provide an audible signal when the water comes to a boil.
It’s certainly frustrating that the whistle feature didn’t meet your expectations and that the lid requires significant effort to remove. Especially with a kettle, the lid should open easily to make filling and cleaning as simple as possible.
Please be sure to wait until the kettle has cooled down sufficiently before opening the lid to avoid burns from hot steam or heated components.
Since this is one of our Berger products, we’re happy to take your feedback on the whistle feature and the lid’s handling into account as important considerations for future product development.

Schade, dass Dich die Qualität und insbesondere die Handhabung des Wasserkessels nicht vollständig überzeugen konnten.
Mit einem Fassungsvermögen von 2,2 Litern ist der Wasserkessel für die Zubereitung von Heißgetränken oder zum Erhitzen von Wasser beim Camping vorgesehen. Die integrierte Signalpfeife soll dabei akustisch darauf aufmerksam machen, wenn das Wasser kocht.
Dass Dich die Pfeiffunktion nicht überzeugen konnte und sich zusätzlich der Deckel nur mit größerem Kraftaufwand entfernen lässt, ist natürlich ärgerlich. Gerade bei einem Wasserkessel sollte sich der Deckel unkompliziert öffnen lassen, damit das Befüllen und Reinigen möglichst einfach funktioniert.
Bitte achte darauf, den Deckel erst zu öffnen, wenn der Kessel ausreichend abgekühlt ist, um Verbrennungen durch heißen Dampf oder erhitzte Bauteile zu vermeiden.
Da es sich um eines unserer Berger-Produkte handelt, nehmen wir Deine Hinweise zur Pfeiffunktion und zur Handhabung des Deckels gerne als wichtige Punkte für die weitere Produktentwicklung mit auf.
