Camping chair module for the Volkswagen T5 / T6 / T6.1 tailgate
The chairBOXX is easily fitted to the tailgate using the mounting material included in the scope of delivery and contains two sturdy folding chairs (in variant 714652; 701984 without chairs), each with a maximum load of 100 kg. The chairBOXX can be installed in all Volkswagen T5 and T6 models from 2004 onwards without all-round plastic cladding.
Similar in function and design to the Volkswagen California Beach, the chairBOXX is mounted on the tailgate of the vehicle. Mounting material is included in the scope of delivery. The two foldable BUS-BOXX camping chairs included in the scope of delivery are stowed in the bag. The original cladding of the tailgate is retained and is used to mount the chairBOXX. The chairBOXX is mounted using the mounting kit included in the scope of delivery. No changes need to be made to the vehicle for installation and the module can be removed again at any time.
To close the tailgate, a strap loop is attached to the chairBOXX, which can be fixed in place with a Velcro strap to prevent it from hanging down, and the bag is made of robust backpack nylon and fitted with two hard-wearing YKK zippers. Sewn-in stiffening elements ensure stability and a good appearance. A zipper is also attached to the top of the bag to allow additional items to be stowed away from the interior of the vehicle when the tailgate is closed. An integrated elastic cord can be used as a washing line or for hanging items.
There is also a holder inside the bag for attaching the awning crank. The two optional camping chairs are foldable and made of aluminum. Despite their low weight, they can be loaded with up to 100 kg. The BUS-BOXX camperseat also fits into the original chair bag of the Volkswagen California T5 T6.
