Dekaphon 958

DEKAPHON 958, ALL-PURPOSE UNDERCOAT 958 is a brush-on and spray-on all-purpose undercoat. Packaged in a convenient 1-liter cylindrical screw-top can, it is suitable for touch-ups at home using a brush or for professionals using a pneumatic spray gun. Dekaphon 958 is a fast-drying, water-based product designed to protect against stone chips. It forms a black, elastic film that effectively protects both the wooden underbody and adjacent metal frame parts from stone chips and road salt. Once the product is completely dry, a flexible film remains that protects the vehicle body from stone chips and road salt and provides good protection against various weather conditions. In this state, it can be painted over with conventional 2K acrylic, water-based paints.

DEKAPHON 958 can be applied using a brush, suction cup, or pump. Airless spraying is recommended at a product temperature of +15°C to +20°C. Soiled surfaces and dirty equipment can be cleaned with water while the product is still “fresh.” Open containers should be closed immediately after application.
