Thank you very much for sharing your experience with the Fiamma Tie Down S anchoring kit with us.
Of course, a plastic buckle shouldn’t break on the very first use. Especially with a tie-down set for awnings, it’s important that all fasteners hold securely and withstand the intended loads.
The Tie Down S is designed to provide additional ground anchoring for the awning. To this end, the set includes two adjustable straps, each 300 cm long, along with matching mounting hooks, ground stakes, and tension springs. The tension springs are designed to absorb the tensile forces caused by wind.
This makes it all the more frustrating when a buckle is damaged on the very first use, thereby compromising the reliability of the fastening. For safety reasons, please do not continue to use the affected tension strap in this condition.
We recommend that you submit a claim to have the damage inspected, along with your proof of purchase.
We deeply regret that you had this disappointing experience on your very first use and thank you for bringing this important issue to our attention.
Your Fritz Berger Team
Dein Fritz Berger Team
