Product description
Hot water even on the darkest days with very little sunlight. The power supply unit heats the water when there isn't enough solar power available.
If the water temperature in the water heater drops below the set minimum temperature, the water heater automatically turns on the power supply unit. As a result, the water is heated using electricity from the outlet.
Setting the Minimum Temperature
A minimum temperature can be set in no time using the boiler’s buttons. This minimum temperature can be freely configured between 5 °C and 65 °C in 5 °C increments. For example, a minimum water temperature of 35 °C can be set. If the water temperature drops below the set minimum temperature, the boiler automatically turns on the power supply. The water is heated using mains power.
As soon as the set minimum temperature is reached, the reheating process automatically stops.
PV power always takes priority
The photovoltaic water heater always uses as much photovoltaic power as possible.
If the water temperature drops below the set minimum temperature while power is being generated by the photovoltaic modules, all photovoltaic power is always used first. If there is not enough power available from the photovoltaic modules while the water temperature is below the minimum, power is drawn from the grid in parallel.
The power supply unit is connected via a simple plug-in connection. Installation is intuitive. No licensed electrician is required.
- The power supply unit is plugged into the bottom of the water heater and into an outlet.
- The next step is to set the minimum water temperature. This is done using two buttons located directly on the water heater. The configuration is very simple and is explained in detail in the included operating instructions.
