With the horntools Elements Gen II roof tent in 220 cm, you can use the most spacious model in the Elements series as a well thought-out family roof tent for 4 people. You benefit from a clearly structured room layout, two entrances and a stable overall architecture to keep families and groups comfortable on long trips, camping and overlanding. In Midnight Stone, the tent looks elegant and understated with a dark gray design and black roof, suitable for mountain regions and rocky landscapes.
For flexible entry and exit, there are two separate entrances with two black 2.6 m telescopic ladders so that everyone can get in and out independently. If you want to divide the interior, you can attach the enclosed partition wall in seconds and use two sleeping cabins. For nights under the stars, there are two large Sky View roof windows that can be completely darkened if different sleeping times are required. The integrated LED interior lighting produces pleasant light, can be controlled via a dimmer switch and offers three light colors, ideal for reading, for game nights or for a relaxing end to the day. To keep everything tidy, mosquito nets are integrated at all openings, 12 side pockets and two shoe pockets especially for the 220 cm model.
You sleep on an 8 cm cold foam/memory foam mattress, which is in two parts in the 220 cm model and is described as super comfortable memory foam, complemented by the 3D mesh carpet pad for better ventilation and less moisture. You are weatherproof thanks to the 300 g/m² canvas tent fabric with polyurethane coating made from 35% cotton and 65% polyester and the rain cover made from 210D Oxford with polyurethane coating, with 2000 mm water column on the tent fabric and 3000 mm on the fly sheet.
Gen II also features a practical cover roll-up for quick storage of the cover, a new telescopic pole for the canopy for stability in rain and snow, darkened tent fabric for better privacy, black guy poles, a continuous black frame and a reinforced aluminum honeycomb floor for high stability. The tent is compatible with standard roof rack systems and can be mounted on platform racks or sturdy crossbars. A high dynamic roof load is important, especially for larger vehicles such as robust SUVs, off-roaders or vans.
