With the horntools Elements Gen II roof tent in the compact 140 cm version, you have a lightweight, reliable folding tent for solo adventures or trips for two that also fits on smaller vehicles. It is compatible with all standard roof rack systems and is suitable for almost any vehicle with a roof rack, as long as the roof load is at least 66.5 kg.
In Midnight Stone, the tent looks modern and discreet, with dark gray tent fabric and black roof frame as well as black fly sheet, ideal for tours in the mountains, in the backcountry or anywhere where it should not stand out visually. Robust 300 g/m² canvas with a polyurethane (PU) coating made from 35% cotton and 65% polyester, combined with a 210D Oxford fly sheet with a polyurethane (PU) coating, ensures weather resistance; the water column is 2000 mm (tent fabric) and 3000 mm (fly sheet).
You sleep on an optimized 8 cm cold foam/memory foam mattress and use the Anti-Sweat 3D mesh carpet pad for a comfortable sleeping climate. Two Sky View skylights give you a clear view upwards and can be completely darkened, while the integrated LED lighting can be controlled via a dimmable switch and offers three color temperatures. For access, you get a modern black, length-adjustable 2.6 m telescopic ladder, plus mosquito nets at the entrances, side windows and roof windows, 12 side pockets and the supplied shoe bag help you to store everything neatly.
The Gen II updates include a new roll-up system for the cover, black guy poles, black guy poles for the windows, a reinforced honeycomb aluminum floor, an improved telescopic pole for the canopy to protect against rain and snow and a darker tent fabric for more privacy. The roof tent can be assembled in approx. 60 minutes, all parts and tools except the roof rack are included, and you can optionally add a matching awning in Midnight Stone with a zipper, for example as a changing room or sheltered lounge area.
