The mountains behind you, the expanse ahead - the best place in the world to pitch a tent. When you travel with the Exolight III, you can camp in the best places. This 3-person trekking tent combines excellent wind stability with an extremely lightweight design.
The pole sections are all connected to each other. This makes the tent weatherproof and simplifies pitching. The tent requires very few pegs - a great advantage if you want to pitch it on rocky terrain, for example. The inner tent and outer tent are also connected to each other and are simply attached to the pole system. This is very practical if you need to pitch the tent in the rain.
The outer tent is coated with polyurethane on the inside and silicone on the outside. This means that it is not only made of high-strength ripstop components, but is also permanently waterproof. The Exolight III has two entrances (one on each side) with mosquito netting, allowing air to circulate freely without letting mosquitoes in.

To determine the millimetre value, 10 cm of fabric is stretched under a measuring cylinder and the cylinder is filled with water from above. The limit value at which water droplets press through the material is the maximum water column. In Germany, a tent outer material is considered waterproof from 1500 mm.
