The water column provides information about the material tightness. To determine the millimetre value, 10 cm of fabric is stretched under a measuring cylinder and the cylinder is filled with water from above. The limit value at which water droplets press through the material is the maximum water column. In Germany, a tent outer material is considered waterproof from 1500 mm.

First of all, we’re glad to hear that setting it up went quickly and smoothly. We are all the more sorry that you encountered such difficulties when folding it back up afterward.
We take very seriously your description of the tent snapping back while you were folding it, which even resulted in injuries to your fingers and face. Of course, this should not have happened. We sincerely hope you’re feeling better by now.
We also understand your frustration regarding the lack of a response to your complaint so far. Your request is already being processed, and our colleagues in the complaints department are handling the matter. We would like to express our sincere apologies for the delay.

Es freut uns zunächst, dass der Aufbau schnell und problemlos funktioniert hat. Umso mehr bedauern wir, dass es beim anschließenden Zusammenfalten zu solchen Schwierigkeiten gekommen ist.
Dass das Zelt beim Falten nach Deiner Schilderung zurückgeschlagen ist und Du Dich dabei sogar an Finger und Gesicht verletzt hast, nehmen wir sehr ernst. Das sollte selbstverständlich nicht passieren. Wir hoffen sehr, dass es Dir inzwischen wieder gut geht.
