Separett Tiny Separating Toilet – Compact, Waterless Separating Toilet for Small Spaces and Mobile Installations

The Separett Tiny Separating Toilet is a compact, waterless separating toilet designed for tiny homes, camper vans, RVs, boats, garden sheds, and other locations with limited space. Thanks to its integrated system for liquids and solids, it operates completely independently and is particularly well-suited for mobile installations without external wastewater disposal. The toilet automatically separates urine and solid waste. Solids are collected in a compostable waste bag made from cornstarch, while urine is collected in a canister.

A built-in fan ensures continuous air circulation and vents moisture and any residual odors to the outside through the vent pipe. This creates a hygienic and virtually odorless indoor environment. The toilet can be powered by a 12 V battery or via a 110–230 V mains connection and requires only a 50 mm diameter vent pipe and a urine hose for installation. An automatic privacy flap covers the solid waste container and opens when you sit down. A sensor-based fill-level indicator, featuring the Separett logo, signals when the urine canister needs to be emptied.

To use it, sit on the toilet and position yourself slightly further back so that the separation of urine and solid waste works reliably. Toilet paper is disposed of along with the solid waste. With regular use by two people, the solid waste container needs to be emptied about once a week, and the urine canister about every other day. The toilet is placed on the floor against a wall and can be secured to the wall or floor for added stability.

The Separett Tiny works in both warm and cold rooms, regardless of the room temperature. For optimal ventilation, the vent pipe can be up to 5 m long and installed with up to two 90° bends. The exhaust air can be vented to the outside through the wall, floor, or roof. The fan should run continuously to prevent odors. For cleaning, a mild detergent is recommended to avoid damaging the high-gloss polypropylene housing. The filter in the vent should be rinsed regularly with water.
