Sikaflex 554
Sikaflex-554 is an elastic one-component silane-terminated polymer (STP) adhesive system specially developed for bonding large components in industrial production. Sikaflex-554 shows good adhesion to a wide range of substrates with minimal pre-treatment. Sikaflex-554 can be accelerated with the Booster and PowerCure system.
Sikaflex-554 is suitable for joints that are exposed to dynamic loads. Suitable substrates are metals, especially aluminum, metal primers,
Paints, sheet steel, ceramic materials and plastics. Sikaflex-554 shows good adhesion to a variety of substrates with little pre-treatment.
Follow the manufacturer's recommendations before using Sikaflex-554 on materials at risk of stress cracking. Preliminary tests must be carried out with original materials to avoid stress cracking.
This product is only suitable for experienced users. To ensure adhesion and material compatibility, preliminary tests must be carried out with original materials under the respective conditions.
