Wireless magnetic contacts complement the Thitronik security concept. The wireless magnetic contacts are used to secure doors, windows, hatches and other openings in the motorhome. They serve as an extension to the WiPro III alarm system.

A few button presses on the pre-programmed wireless hand-held transmitter are all it takes for the system to recognize the extended accessories. Proven reed contact technology is installed inside the wireless magnetic contacts. Together with the modern and secure frequency band of 868 MHz, the magnetic contacts offer protection against unauthorized opening of the vehicle. Mechanical sabotage protection is provided by a second, sensitive reed contact that reports external magnetic influences. If the magnet in the smaller housing moves far enough away from the transmitter unit, the reed contact triggers a transmission pulse. Your alarm system therefore knows the status of individual doors and windows. The wireless magnetic contacts do not transmit permanently - they only transmit when they are activated.
