Product description
The one-piece external insulation mat Lux is on the one hand the ideal thermal insulation for winter holidays, on the other hand it offers effective protection against solar radiation in summer. When used in winter, the external insulation increases the surface temperature on the inside of the windows and thus significantly reduces the risk of condensation inside the vehicle. In summer use, when the window mat is closed, the sun's rays do not even pass through the window glass and the interior cannot heat up as easily. In nice, sunny winter weather the front flap can be opened and the sun's rays can warm up the interior further, saving the camper heating energy
Material
The outer surfaces of the material consist of weatherproof and strong PE fabric. The lightweight approx. 20 mm thick inner insulation made of polyester does not store any moisture. The material is winterproof and can be rolled up or folded even in very cold weather.
Attachment
The attachment to the vehicle is simple: an inner pocket is attached in the driver's door area, which is hung over the edge of the door.

Hindermann has developed the Lux Duo add-on module to provide effective protection against cold draughts through the non-insulated engine compartment, wheel arches and footwell, even during winter holidays. This is a lower part that can be connected to the window mat using a Velcro fastener. It is made of the same material. However, the insulation on this "lower part" is slightly thinner in order to save volume during the journey. In addition, there is a wind screen with integrated eyelets at the bottom edge. This way the complete cab can be effectively protected from penetrating cold.
