„We have been using the cool box for many months and have tested it at various outdoor temperatures. At a room temperature of 21 degrees, at a summery 30 °C on the terrace, but also at cooler temperatures.“
Wo war die Berger Kühlbox im Einsatz?
„The cool box is mainly used at home. It serves as a refrigerator replacement or as a refrigerator extension, as a supplier of cold beer at barbecues on the terrace and as a drinks cooler at family celebrations. But it's not just super practical at home, it's also very easy to transport. So we also had it with us in the camper van and in the car.“

„Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, France, Andorra, Spain, Gibraltar, Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia
The cool box was in the trunk of a 1996 Golf 3 (not a station wagon) almost all the time and was connected to the battery's permanent positive. Of course, we always checked the voltage of the car battery with a multimeter at the beginning. The cooler always worked perfectly and there was never a problem starting the engine.
We also took the cooler into the hotel room twice.“

„The first test took place in the garage with the 230 V power supply unit supplied. It worked perfectly, but the cable from the power supply unit to the cool box is very short. (approx. 20-25cm)
A very cool feature is that you can open the lid from both sides and thus adapt the cooler to the conditions in the car/boot!“

„Of course, at 20 liters, it is a "small" cooler. But we already knew that beforehand and we deliberately chose this cooler, as the small volume naturally also means that the external dimensions are smaller. So it was perfect for the small trunk of our Golf 3 (not an estate car).
You just have to be smart with the cooling volume and not shop indiscriminately in the supermarket. Nevertheless, we always had enough space for a few cans of beer, soft drinks, milk, eggs, vegetables, pizza dough, sausage and cheese. The four of us got through the Sahara well and always had a good dinner and a cold beer at the end of the day.“
