„We use the air fryer in our RV. We’ve had an air fryer at home for quite some time. Because of its “bulkiness” and high wattage, we hadn’t bought one for the RV until now. But the Fritz Berger Vanfry has the perfect dimensions and features to accompany us on our travels. It now has a permanent spot in the cabinet—all we had to do was make room for it by getting rid of the toaster, which we haven’t needed anyway since then.“

„The air fryer has so many different programs that you can't possibly use them all. So there's definitely a program to suit every taste and cooking method.“

„The air fryer is generally very compact. It’s perfect for taking along in a RV and is more than enough for two people. The cooking basket is about the size of a whole hand. So anything that fits in one hand can be cooked easily in the air fryer. For example, when we made tarte flambée, we simply cooked several small ones one after another. Half a chicken, for instance, also fits nicely in the basket.“

„Cooking in the air fryer works like a charm. Since I’m lucky enough to always travel with a trained chef, we’ve been experimenting with it a lot. Ever since we got it, the pots often stay clean. The possibilities are endless. And thanks to AI, we’ve even been able to get some inspiration from the apps.“

„Cleaning is no problem at all. Thanks to the coating, everything is very easy to clean. You can remove the rack, allowing you to clean the basket and inserts separately. Nothing burns onto the surface. The basket is also dishwasher-safe. After every trip, we run it through the dishwasher. We clean the outside of the air fryer with a damp cloth and dish soap or a grease-cutting spray.“

„All the features mentioned are great. We’ve been wanting that viewing window with a built-in light for our home ever since. Instead of interrupting the heating process every time by pulling out the drawer to check how the food is cooking, you can simply turn on the light and look inside from the outside. The timer is, of course, handy, especially for toasting bread. It even gives you time to quickly brush your teeth. Everything is controlled via the touchscreen—which is convenient because grease or dirt can’t get stuck in any buttons. You can just swipe right over it. The shake function is also handy for things like fries or when something needs to be turned. The air fryer reminds you to do this every now and then.“
Overall impression:
„I think the air fryer was the best purchase we’ve made for our RV in the last 10 years. We use the air fryer every day when we’re traveling (as long as there’s electricity). We’re still self-sufficient with our gas stove, though. But it really makes a lot of things easier. There’s much less mess and fewer dishes to wash. It’s also great for quick meals or reheating leftovers from the day before. It’s just so easy—at the touch of a button. We also use silicone liners—which protect the basket and make cleaning even easier. The dimensions are perfect, too—even for a small RV like ours. Sometimes it sits on the kitchen counter, on top of the cooler, or even outside on the bike rack.“

„The programs are convenient. That way, you don't have to spend a lot of time reading about how long it takes to prepare a meal.“

„We can fit 4 rolls, 2 pizza baguettes, or french fries for the whole family inside. The round air fryer pan fits perfectly and can be filled all the way to the top.“

„Great. Everything’s ready in no time and turns out great. The fries are crispy and ready in 10 minutes. That’s why I’m taking the air fryer home to my kitchen. Everything just goes so fast.“

„I absolutely love cooking with the air fryer when I need to get dinner ready quickly. Everything’s ready in just a few minutes, and there aren’t many dishes to wash. The basket is big enough for the three of us.“
