As an absorber cooler, the A1200 works on 12 volts, 230 volts or on a gas cylinder. This makes it completely independent even in remote areas. The absorption cooling is almost silent. So you can enjoy your sunset completely undisturbed. The cool box offers space for all 1.5 l and 2 l PET bottles.

„We tested the cooler for weeks on several occasions. On the one hand, we had it with us on our 10-day motorhome vacation in Brittany. On the other hand, it served us well during a domestic beer tasting in the living room. It also accompanied us on a picnic with our bus.“

„The test took place in spring-like temperatures around 20°C.“
Wo hatten Sie die Berger-Kühlbox im Einsatz?
„We have connected the cooler during our vacation in the rear garage of our camper. But it was also in use at home in the living room, as well as in our bus. So we could test all three types of connection (gas, 12 volts and 220 volts).“

„The cooler looks sturdy and high quality. It has a large cooling space and the cables can be stored well without getting tangled. It is also visually appealing. We were enthusiastic about the various options for connecting the cooler. Only the high weight caught our eye negatively.“

„The cooler is very well made. It closes cleanly, the hinges of the lid are stable. The body is made of scratch-resistant plastic. The rotary controls snap cleanly into place.“

„The cooling compartment is sufficiently large and above all also very high. Even 1.5 liter water bottles can be placed upright.“

„We find the cooling performance of the box very good. Within a few hours, the box could cool down from 20°C to 2°C with the 220 volt connection. During overnight operation, even ice cubes froze in the included ice cube maker. Even in gas mode, the box loses almost no performance. The ice cubes froze here as well
We are also impressed by the cooler's insulation. The temperatures could be maintained for about six hours without electricity or gas supply. This also makes the box particularly suitable for taking along on the road, for example for picnics.“
Wie gut gefällt Ihnen die optische Aufmachung der Kühlbox?
„We also like the look of the cooler very much. The black lid makes the box look classy. We also found it extremely practical that the lid is flat, so you can also use the cooler as a tray. The recessed grips are well positioned and make it possible to carry the cooler safely
The only thing we missed was an operating light.“
Overall impression:
„We are very convinced of the cooler and its many uses. Not only as an additional cooling compartment in the camper, but also in use at home or when picnicking, we liked the cooler. The box works completely silent and can therefore be operated in the bedroom (for example, in the tent). Once cooled down, the temperature is maintained for a long time and that even without energy supply. This also expands the range of applications. We were surprised that it is even possible to make ice cubes.“
