Drain Water with Ease—The Berger Fresh Water Drainage Kit

With this drainage kit, you can drain the water system of your trailer or RV easily, quickly, and reliably. The system connects easily to the water lines and uses air from a car compressor or a foot pump to force residual water out of the lines, tanks, and fittings. This thoroughly drains the entire fresh water system, ensuring no standing water remains. This helps reduce the growth of bacteria and unpleasant odors while also protecting against potential frost damage during extended periods of inactivity or during the winter months. This keeps your water system hygienic and your vehicle operational for longer.

Quick Guide – Installation:

1. Empty the fresh water tank and run the water pump for about 30 seconds to remove any residual water from the system. Then turn off the power to the water pump and the boiler.
2. Locate the fresh water line between the water tank and the water pump inside the vehicle (do not confuse it with the overflow line).
3. Cut the line straight across about 15 cm behind the water tank.
4. Insert the adapter from the drainage kit into the cut line.
5. Install the shut-off valve and air valve on the adapter. You can then connect a foot pump or a compressor to drain the system (max. 1 bar / 15 PSI).
