The gas level meter is the ideal tool to monitor the level of your gas container or gas bottle in a simple and accurate way. With this innovative device you always have an exact overview of your gas consumption and can react in time to avoid bottlenecks.
The gas level meter is easy to use. It is simply pressed horizontally at different points of your gas bottle. The light turns green when there is still gas in the bottle. As soon as the lift further up turns red, there is no more gas in the gas bottle.

Of course, it shouldn’t be the case that the level gauge shows “empty” exclusively—regardless of the measurement position—when the gas cylinder is full and made of suitable steel.
For a reliable measurement, the LX10 should be placed at a 90° angle directly against the cylinder wall, and the measurement should ideally be taken from the bottom up. It’s also important to ensure a clean and as flat as possible contact surface, since contaminants, rust, stickers, unevenness, or a very thick coat of paint, for example, can interfere with the ultrasonic signal.
If these conditions are met and your LX10 still displays only “empty” in every position, you can, of course, return it to us free of charge using the return documents provided.
As an alternative, we can recommend our new Berger FillSense Gascontrol (Item No. 352746). This upgraded model is suitable for both steel and aluminum LPG cylinders with a diameter ranging from 200 to 350 mm. The fill level is measured directly on the cylinder and displayed immediately. The FillSense also features a rechargeable battery with a USB-C port and a built-in LED flashlight, which is especially handy when taking measurements in a dark gas compartment.

Dass der Füllstandsmesser bei einer vollen und geeigneten Stahl-Gasflasche unabhängig von der Messposition ausschließlich „leer“ anzeigt, sollte natürlich nicht so sein.
Für eine zuverlässige Messung sollte der LX10 im 90°-Winkel direkt an der Flaschenwand angesetzt und die Messung am besten von unten nach oben durchgeführt werden. Wichtig ist außerdem eine saubere und möglichst ebene Kontaktfläche, da beispielsweise Verschmutzungen, Rost, Aufkleber, Unebenheiten oder eine sehr dicke Lackschicht das Ultraschallsignal beeinflussen können.
Sind diese Voraussetzungen erfüllt und zeigt Dein LX10 trotzdem an jeder Position ausschließlich „leer“ an, kannst Du ihn mit Deinen vorliegenden Rücksendeunterlagen selbstverständlich kostenfrei an uns zurücksenden.
Als Alternative können wir Dir unseren neuen Berger FillSense Gascontrol (Art.-Nr. 352746) empfehlen. Das weiterentwickelte Modell eignet sich sowohl für Stahl- als auch für Aluminium-LPG-Gasflaschen mit einem Durchmesser von 200 bis 350 mm. Der Füllstand wird direkt an der Flasche ermittelt und unmittelbar angezeigt. Der FillSense besitzt außerdem einen wiederaufladbaren Akku mit USB-C-Anschluss und eine integrierte LED-Taschenlampe, die gerade bei Messungen im dunkleren Gaskasten praktisch ist.
