For mounting on the drawbar. Lightweight aluminum bicycle carrier for transporting 2 bicycles or e-bikes up to a maximum load capacity of 40 kg. Extra wide bicycle rails with a width of 61 mm.

For mounting on the drawbar. Includes bicycle frame holders that are easy to move and lockable. The bike carrier can be folded down completely for easy access to caravan openings. It’s a shame that you weren’t satisfied with the design of the mounting arms and the length of the bike rails in particular.
The Premium 2 XL is designed to transport two bikes and is generally suitable for e-bikes as well. However, especially with e-bikes, the wheelbase, tire size, and frame geometry can vary significantly. That’s why it’s important to make sure, before use, that the bikes are securely positioned on the rails and can be reliably fastened at the designated mounting points.
It’s naturally frustrating that you found the standard mounting arms insufficient in terms of adjustability and stability and therefore had to purchase additional mounting arms. With a bike rack in particular, it’s especially important to secure the bikes safely while maintaining as much flexibility as possible.
Since the Premium 2 XL is one of our Berger products, we’re happy to take your comments regarding the length of the rails as well as the design, stability, and adjustability of the mounting arms into account as important points for further product development.

Schade, dass Dich insbesondere die Ausführung der Haltearme und die Länge der Fahrradschienen nicht überzeugen konnten.
Der Premium 2 XL ist für den Transport von zwei Fahrrädern ausgelegt und grundsätzlich auch für E-Bikes geeignet. Gerade bei E-Bikes können sich Radstand, Reifengröße und Rahmengeometrie jedoch deutlich unterscheiden. Deshalb ist es wichtig, vor der Nutzung darauf zu achten, dass die Fahrräder sicher auf den Schienen stehen und sich zuverlässig an den vorgesehenen Haltepunkten befestigen lassen.
Dass Du die serienmäßigen Haltearme hinsichtlich ihrer Verstellmöglichkeiten und Stabilität als nicht ausreichend empfunden hast und deshalb zusätzlich andere Haltearme kaufen musstest, ist natürlich ärgerlich. Gerade bei einem Fahrradträger ist eine sichere und gleichzeitig möglichst flexible Befestigung der Fahrräder besonders wichtig.
Da es sich beim Premium 2 XL um eines unserer Berger-Produkte handelt, nehmen wir Deine Hinweise zur Länge der Schienen sowie zur Konstruktion, Stabilität und Verstellbarkeit der Haltearme gerne als wichtige Punkte für die weitere Produktentwicklung mit auf.
