Yes, I recommend this product

"The gas stove works as it should. Overall, the gas stove seems to be on par with its price range. It came packaged in a cardboard box that was covered in a thick layer of dust and had a hole in the top. After unpacking it, I had to change my pants and shirt and wash myself thoroughly."

No, I do not recommend this product

"After connecting the gas cylinder, I turned up the regulator and lit it; then the stove was at full blast according to the dial, and even though I was able to turn off the cylinder, I was still in a tight spot. I first tested the stove on the workbench. It’s a mystery to me that something like this would happen with a brand-new appliance. I returned it right away; I’m still waiting for a response and my money back."

Berger Camping Customer Service:

Hello Mario,

Thank you very much for sharing your experience with the Cadac 2 Cook 2 Classic Stove with us.

It goes without saying that a gas leak near the control knob should never occur, especially during the first use. Safety is of the utmost importance, particularly with a gas-powered camping stove, and such behavior in no way meets the requirements for safe and reliable operation.

The Cadac 2 Cook 2 Classic Stove is designed for use with a suitable 50 mbar gas connection and features two separately adjustable burners. A prerequisite for safe use is, of course, that all gas-carrying components and controls function properly.

We can fully understand how frightening this situation must have been for you, and we are relieved that you were able to shut off the gas supply in time and that, according to your account, no injuries occurred.

We’re pleased that we’ve already been able to resolve your concern through direct email correspondence and work with you to find an appropriate solution.

We would like to express our sincere apologies for this incident and the resulting inconvenience, and we thank you for bringing this important issue to our attention.

Your Fritz Berger Team

Guten Tag Mario,

Dein Fritz Berger Team
