Dekasyl MS-5 high-performance adhesive and sealant for elastic joints
Dekasyl MS-5 is a universal high-performance adhesive based on modified silane (MS polymer), which is particularly characterized by its high initial adhesion and elasticity. It has been specially developed for vehicle and caravan construction and enables fast and reliable bonding - often without any additional clamps. Dekasyl MS-5 is also suitable for sealing joints and transitions, especially where the material stiffness is similar. Free from solvents, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and isocyanates, it is not only user-friendly, but also environmentally friendly and odorless. It can also be used indoors and in sensitive areas without any problems. It can be recoated after a short time and is compatible with numerous paint and lacquer systems.

- Processing time for bonding: approx. 15 minutes at 20 °C / 50 % humidity
- Processing time for sealing: approx. 12 minutes at 20 °C / 50 % humidity
- Skin formation time: approx. 10 minutes
- Optimum adhesive layer thickness: 2 mm (depending on material)
- Processing temperature: +5 °C to +35 °C
- Temperature resistance after curing: -40 °C to +120 °C
- can be painted over: after approx. 10 minutes (best adhesion after approx. 4 hours)
- Cleaning with: e.g. Dekaclean Ultra or suitable cleaner
- Elastic bonding and sealing in towing, caravan, motorhome and truck construction
- Bonding windows, solar modules, roof ducts and AT systems
- Bonding edge profiles on trailers made of aluminum or polyester
