MT-Duo automatic charger

Like all MT devices from BÜTTNER ELEKTRONIK, the chargers are "Made in Germany" and designed precisely for their particular application area. Optimum charging is ensured through the very latest IUoU charging characteristics, complemented by long-term activation and the AGM/Gel/Acid battery switching. This allows unsupervised charging with automatic battery regeneration even where there are long idle periods or for winter storage. To improve charging performance, all devices can be switched in parallel to pre-existing chargers and are protected against short-circuiting, overloading, polarity reversal etc. There is integrated voltage stabilisation and guaranteed adequate charging even where there is a weak or unstable power supply. The control panel with display function can be removed and installed in the vehicle as a remote control (cable extension available as an optional extra). An additional charging output is provided to charge the starter battery.

From series MT-1240, there is also a second integrated main charging output. This allows the charging of battery banks that will be operated separately from each other. For these devices, a 3-way switch is provided which can be used to reduce the power input if the location has insufficient fuse protection. A temperature sensor can (optionally) be supplied for all MT chargers to ensure optimum charging in all climates.
