Modern vehicles have a low but constant battery drain. Many of the electrical systems are constantly active, even when the ignition is off. Alarm systems, immobilizers, and lock monitoring are examples of systems that run in the background and can drain the battery even when the vehicle is not in use. The OSP500 / OSP1000 / OPS2000 features a solar-powered battery maintenance function for 12-V vehicles. This is a way to maintain your vehicle’s battery when it is not in use. Ideal for seasonally used vehicles such as RVs, classic cars, and motorcycles. Comes with a DC plug and battery clamps, works even on overcast days, and is IP 65 waterproof. Reverse polarity protection prevents damage if the clamps are connected to the wrong battery terminals.
