It goes without saying that water should not have seeped into the drawbar box in several places—and completely soaked the floor—after just the first trip in the rain. Reliable protection against moisture intrusion is especially important for a drawbar box that is permanently mounted on a trailer and is therefore exposed to various weather conditions.
The drawbar box is designed to provide additional storage space on the trailer and to accommodate camping gear in a space-saving manner. When used as intended, the design should offer adequate protection against rain and splashing water.
We are all the more sorry to hear that moisture apparently penetrated your drawbar box after only a short period of use, even damaging the HDF floor. We fully understand that, under these circumstances, you are disappointed with the quality and suitability for everyday use.
Since an HDF bottom that has swollen due to moisture can lose its original stability, it should not be subjected to further stress while in a damaged condition.
You can, of course, return the drawbar box to us free of charge using the return documents provided. Please include a brief description of the defect with your return so that we can review your claim accordingly.

vielen Dank, dass Du Deine Erfahrungen mit dem Deichselkasten so offen mit uns teilst.
Dass bereits nach der ersten Regenfahrt an mehreren Stellen Wasser in den Deichselkasten eingedrungen ist und der Boden dadurch vollständig durchweicht wurde, sollte selbstverständlich nicht passieren. Gerade bei einem Deichselkasten, der dauerhaft am Wohnwagen montiert und damit unterschiedlichen Witterungseinflüssen ausgesetzt ist, ist ein zuverlässiger Schutz vor eindringender Feuchtigkeit besonders wichtig.
Der Deichselkasten ist dafür vorgesehen, zusätzlichen Stauraum am Wohnwagen zu schaffen und Campingzubehör platzsparend unterzubringen. Dabei sollte die Konstruktion bei bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung einen angemessenen Schutz vor Regen und Spritzwasser bieten.
Umso mehr bedauern wir, dass bei Deinem Deichselkasten offenbar bereits nach kurzer Nutzung Feuchtigkeit eingedrungen ist und dadurch sogar der HDF-Boden beschädigt wurde. Wir können gut nachvollziehen, dass Du unter diesen Umständen von der Qualität und Alltagstauglichkeit enttäuscht bist.
Da ein durch Feuchtigkeit aufgequollener HDF-Boden seine ursprüngliche Stabilität verlieren kann, sollte dieser in beschädigtem Zustand nicht weiter belastet werden.
Du kannst den Deichselkasten mit Deinen vorliegenden Rücksendeunterlagen selbstverständlich kostenfrei an uns zurücksenden. Bitte lege der Rücksendung eine kurze Beschreibung des aufgetretenen Mangels bei, damit wir Deine Reklamation entsprechend prüfen können.
